As a certified personal trainer in my 60s, I lead engaging, interactive workshops that empower adults 50+ to take charge of their physical well-being. My approach is grounded, relatable, and built on strategies that work in real life.
Meet Marilyn
I've been active most of my life. Growing up on a cattle farm, I spent my days carrying pails of grain, lifting heavy straw bales, cycling and running.
But after years in a desk job, my health took a turn. In my mid-40s, a diagnosis of high blood pressure was the wake-up call I needed to rebuild my strength and fitness—ultimately leading me to competitive powerlifting.
Then in 2019, everything changed. A life-altering concussion forced me into a long recovery process involving physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and exercise therapy. Through this journey, I found my true calling: helping others reclaim their strength, confidence, and vitality.
In 2021 I was diagnosed with spinal osteoarthritis. My work supports women with osteoarthritis and osteopenia.
Today, as an exercise therapist and personal trainer, I work with individuals 50+ to help them move without pain and live with energy and purpose.
